Privacy Policy

This policy covers anyone who submits medical details, books a consultation, or is referred as a patient through this website ("the Platform"), operated by Torto Care.

• Contact details you give us: your name, email, and/or WhatsApp number.
• Health information you choose to share: symptoms, existing diagnoses, the treatment category you're interested in, and any medical reports or scans you upload.
• Referral information: if a Product Champ refers you, the details they submit on your behalf.
• Basic usage information about how you use the Platform, used only to improve the product.

We don't ask for information unrelated to arranging your care.

• To review your case and arrange a free consultation.
• To prepare a treatment plan, quote, and coordinate hospital admission, visa support, and travel.
• To keep your Care.io journey status up to date.
• To calculate referral commissions for Product Champs, using referral metadata rather than your medical details.

We do not sell your information, and we never use your medical details for advertising.

• Our partner hospital, for the purpose of your treatment.
• The Product Champ who referred you, limited to what's needed to manage that referral.
• Torto Care staff who manage your case.

We don't share your information with any other third party without your consent, except where required by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access is limited to the people listed above, and only as needed to arrange your care.

We keep your case information for as long as needed to arrange and follow up on your treatment, and for a reasonable period afterward in line with standard medical record-keeping practice. You can ask us to delete it sooner, except where we're required to retain records by law.

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact privacy@tortocare.com to make a request.

The Platform isn't intended for use by anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian acting on their behalf.

Because Torto Care coordinates care across borders, your information may be processed in a different country than the one you live in. We take steps to protect it consistently wherever it's processed.

We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever we make changes, and post the updated version here.
